Chief Executive Officer
14 years leadership experience, Rich Laster wields a track record of increasing business profits, and enhancing government and nonprofit service delivery for his clients. Laster is currently engaged by the federal government to provide minority-owned businesses with business development support, in the aim of increasing both their revenue and capacity to do business. In 2009 Laster negotiated a multi-million dollar ARRA contract in Allentown, PA for an Atlanta-based technology firm who manufactures a high performance green energy technology. He saved Philadelphia $250,000 in 2008 by negotiating a zero‐cost partnership between the City and Temple University to study and address the growing issue of poverty.
Starting his career in 1998 at First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo), Laster successfully doubled revenue of the 5th & Market Streets branch his first year. Recognizing market demand, Laster created RBL Consulting in 2001 to provide creative financing, business development guidance, and revenue expansion strategies for businesses that did not meet the cookie‐cutter demands of major lending institutions.
A graduate of Temple University, Laster continues to serve his community on numerous boards with a focus on entrepreneurship, education, and economic development.
